eSewa GPRS/Internet based App Update

What is eSewa:

eSewa is the Digital Payment Portal of Nepal enabled with hosted wallet both the internet and mobile wallet along with new and unique services like VISA Prepaid Card, Payout Agent( Cash in and Cash out ) and different Payment facilities.

What is eSewa GPRS app:

Previously, eSewa was only having an SMS-based app( eSewa Mobile Wallet ). Where every time if you're doing any transaction through eSewa then SMS system used to be taken in work and for every SMS charge was applied. This was really Boring, unsecured, Costly, Unreliable and time consumings system for performing any transaction. 

To Improve the service and solve all these problems now eSewa launched Updated version of eSewa Mobile Wallet app ( Version 24.8)

What's New in ( Version 24.8)

• GPRS/Internet mode payment added
• Montessori fee payment added

How to get Started with eSewa GPRS/Internet based app

• Once you get the lasted version app, it will ask for permission to bind your device > press "proceed".
• You will be asked to input your eSewa ID and MPIN.
• You will receive a token once you click to proceed.
• App will automatically read the received token to bind your device.( if it's not your lucky day, You will have to input the token yourself. ) 

Your eSewa GPRS App is now configured! Just turn on your data/internet when you are using eSewa and your transaction will take place in the cloud, no need to wait for SMS reply anymore. To view your transaction replies, click on the setting button on the upper right corner of the app. Click on GPRS activity and you will find your replies there.
