Nepal Telecom Launches Free Internet Service For Bus Passengers



Nepal Telecom(NT), has started to provide free Internet service to the Bus Passengers in short route vehicle as well as in long route vehicle all over the country.  Nepal Telecom icollaboration with Cybernetics Pvt Ltd has launched service started from Monday.

According to NT this service is launched to provide the quality Internet service to all the passengers travelling all over the country. 

NT said that " Buses travelling to the different location of the country can take permission from NT to operate the service. NT will provide an R-UIM card with 10 GB to each Bus for free of cost. Once the data is consumed, the bus owner have to pay some amount for extra data "

This service can help both passengers and Bus owner. As the Passengers will get non-boring (Fun) travelling experience and Bus owner will get more Passengers due to Internet service available in their bus.



Currently, Seven Vehicles in different route have subscribed this service. In future, all most all vehicles will subscribe the hopefully. 

According to a press statement issued by NT, passenger's device will be automatically directed to the vehicles WiFi network once they open the internet browser from their devices and using NTC data. The user can also use the offline services as the router has storage space for the Music, Videos, Movies etc. Users can access those stored data on router even if Internet connection is not working/Offline. Users can download those stored data on the router in offline mode too for later use.
